“Very funny—your pride is bleeding.” Kaeya steps closer, pulling out a handkerchief, when Diluc finally gets a good look at him. He looks like he’s come straight from one of Diluc’s recent feverish dreams. He’s dressed in a white suit from head to toe. The black button up shirt tucked under his white waistcoat unbuttoned per Kaeya’s usual plunging neckline. Diluc has certainly seen Kaeya in a get-up before, but he’s never filled it out as much, and it’s never piqued his interest until now. “Most people don’t stand in front of doors waiting for people to come out.” He says, grabbing hold of Diluc’s chin. “Tilt you head back.” He orders, pressing the cloth under his nose.
“I was about to knock. You just had very auspicious timing.” Diluc manages to snark back. They meet eyes for a moment, and Diluc's mind chooses to remember their kiss again over, more importantly, his emotional turmoil.
Kaeya smirks at the blush alighting his face and Diluc swears he can read his mind. “Oh? Was this a ploy to get another kiss out of me, my dear fiancé?”
