Lately, Merchants have taken to flirting with unwitting Seam folk as a joke, sometimes going so far as to ask them out on a date. I've even heard of a couple instances of a Merchant asking someone from the Seam to marry them, and then laughing hysterically when the poor recipient says 'yes'. So, when Peeta Mellark approaches me after the reaping, red with nerves and pushing his lips together as if he's trying very hard not to do something like laugh, I'm immediately wary.

Summary

Yoh sighed and rubbed his eyes. His thoughts wandered to the way Segasaki had been that morning. Just weird, a little off. He’d crawled into Yoh’s bed in the small hours of the morning, nestling against him. He’d wrapped both arms around Yoh’s waist, pulling him against him, and held him there as he ran his nose up and down his neck, scenting him.
When Yoh had complained, too hot, too restricted, Segasaki had bit him. Hard. The memory of the bite and how Segasaki had almost immediately licked over the mark, solicitous, soothing the pain, made Yoh groan.
He stood up and walked over to the mirror beside his dresser. He didn’t even have to pull his t-shirt away from his shoulder to see the bruise because it was half-visible under the collar of his shirt.***
Hello, hi! Here we go, mateys! The promised loosely connected third section of Segasaki and Yoh's story. This is Part One of Two Parts. Yoh’s eyes widen and they stare at one another for a few long beats before he looks away, dipping his chin towards his chest, hiding his face from Segasaki. Gently, Segasaki reaches out and turns Yoh’s face towards him. He keeps his palm there, stroking that perfect jawline with his thumb.
“Yoh?” he prompts, raising an eyebrow in question. “Do you remember that?”

“Yes, what?”
“I remember you saying that.” Yoh’s voice is so quiet it was nearly inaudible.
“And are you still fine with that stipulation?”***
Or:It's been a few days since Yoh moved in with Segaseki. And Segaseki is fighting a losing battle against his growing obsession with the seemingly oblivious Yoh. He needs to have him. He's been obsessed with Yoh since he saw him years ago as a junior at college. And he's losing patience. So he makes a move.
