'Hiccup took her hand and yelped again as she pulled him out of the crowd and onto Berkian soil, just to the side of where the docks met the village. They continued on around the mingling Berkians and Berserkers, Rytin making a beeline for the forest.
“Come on, Hiccup!” she called back at him, grinning toothily. “It’s a beautiful day!”
As Rytin whooped gleefully, dragging him along, the fog and clouds seemed to lighten like Frigg herself was smiling. Hiccup couldn’t be sure what for, but he would soak in the sunlight while he could.
Berk rarely did anything but rain, after all.'
Or, Hiccup and Dagur become friends—brothers—the moment they meet.

Summary
'Admins, if Elliot had known that baby trapping, of all things, would turn 007n7 to good, he would have dumped a child at his door sooner than anyone could say the word.

“Yeah, alright.” He was clearly nervous, and Dream felt bad. He knew his friend hated storms, and he wished he could get them out of it safely. That was the pivotal word there, safe. He’d like to believe Techno wouldn’t do anything to hurt him. He was also painfully aware of reality.
Techno hated vigilantes. Like cursing their name, hated all of them no exceptions, went to conferences every single month to make his hatred of them known, goal in life was to get the government to pass the strictest laws possible hatred of vigilantes.

Summary
Dream is the city's greatest contradiction.
To the heroes and civilians of the shining sectors, he is a villain. Dangerous, cruel, a man who can bend literal fear to his will and bring people to their knees without so much as a flick of a finger. But in his own streets, in the Dream District, he is a hero. Their hero, their shield, their savior; more than the heroes of the city have ever been for them, anyway
Dream himself, meanwhile, wants nothing to do with things outside of his own district. He couldn't care less, really. If he had it his way, he'd spend the rest of his days concerned with his people, his allies, and himself, and only that. No matter what sort of new villains-wanted-dead-or-alive initiatives the heroes have been cooking up, or whatever big revolutional, government-toppling plans the Syndicate has in store.
Too bad fate thinks differently.
