What is the plot of this fic? The plot is Draco Malfoy having a terrible fucking time and never being able to catch a break. It will begin fifth year and take you through his journey of being a death eater, the Battle of Hogwarts and post-war. It will loosely follow some canon events but timelines and dates may not be identical. The story itself is one big what if. What if Draco and Hermione started dating before he became a death eater? What if Draco had been present for certain events during the horcrux hunt? What if the war ended this way and these certain people were lost? The characters and story are in no way meant to be canon but instead, an exploration into other possible characterizations of them.
It's also wise to remember, this is entirely from Draco's point of view. Who is to say that he's a reliable narrator?

To extract intel about the whereabouts of the remaining rebels, the Dark Lord commands Antonin Dolohov to utilize a shocking sorcery, of which the Russian Death Eater is the last known practitioner: the ars cupiditas, a form of pleasure torture which causes the victim to become sexually addicted to the user and surrender any information to receive the boon of his body.
But when a reluctant Antonin casts the enchantment, he is unaware that the latent pieces of his own magic still residing in Hermione’s scar will cause the spell to bounce right back at him, rendering them mutually obsessed. He must now find a way to save the brilliant witch who has rapidly become more than just a job, along with himself, before Voldemort realizes the critical error his High Inquisitor has made.

Summary
When a new woman begins working out at the same gym as Draco, he quickly decides that she's insufferable. Thus, there's only one thing to do: drive the curly-haired menace out. The plan is simple. First, he ogles her, purposefully making her uncomfortable. After that doesn't work, he takes to interrupting her workouts in every annoying way he can manage. Except, that fails, too. That's when he decides to fuck her out of his system. It'll just be a one time thing, then he can simply ignore that Hermione even exists.

Summary
Hermione and Draco don't cheat on each other and this is HEA!
Hermione stands at the cold, marble counter, filling out the words, "Irreconcilable Differences," on a scroll of parchment. The cold of the slab of stone below seeps through the paper as she hurriedly fills in the blank spaces on the form: The date of the marriage, the names of their children and their dates of birth, and finally, the reason for termination of their union.
She and Ron both scribble their names hastily across the lines at the bottom before Hermione rolls up the scroll and hands it to the impatient wizard behind the counter. His voice is frigid and unfeeling, matching the rest of the environment inside of the Ministry for Family Affairs. "Court will adjourn next Monday to decide the legal details of your separation. Expect an owl with the details and more paperwork by tomorrow morning," he drawls. Just like that, it's the beginning of the end.
Draco is widowed, and still holding a flame for the romance that he and Hermione had years before. Will this be enough to start the rebirth of their past relationship or will the years, families, and doubts that now stand between them be enough to keep them apart permanently?
