Summary
There’s muffled screams from the other side of the door, still banging against the metal.
Sal slinks up the stairs slowly, bat raised and ready.
With his left hand, he unlocks and opens the door.
Travis Phelps, bloody, nineteen years old and sobbing, darts into the basement and doesn’t stop till halfway down the stairs, where he collapses to the floor, gripping the rail like it’ll save him.
———
AKA: Fix-it fic in which Travis hops out his window in the middle of the night, having nowhere to go but Addison Apartments.
