Summary

Summary
Stiles glanced out of the corner of his eye, taking in the shape of the beast that had emerged from the trees.
“Um,” he whispered, “Is that mutant wolf using me as a human shield?”
Because the wolf had positioned Stiles directly between himself and the crossbow. Which was pretty smart for a wolf. Also there hadn't been wolves in California in like eighty years. And this one looked all kinds of wrong.
“Wait,” Stiles stared at crossbow guy in disbelief. “Are you using me as a human shield too? Not cool, man.”
Five times a boy in red runs into a wolf and a hunter in the woods.
