Summary
It’s been over a year since the Reach were defeated, and about a year since Kon started aging properly, gaining full kryptonian powers… and strange, fuzzy memories of a time at Cadmus before he was rescued.
It is not until he is kidnapped, alongside Bart, Dick, Kaldur, and M’gann, that he sees Tim again, for the first time in six years, and remembers his first friend completely. Summary
Tim Drake was ten when he was kidnapped by Lex Luthor. He was eleven when he helped successfully clone Superman, became friends with Kon, and subsequently helped Kon escape.
He has been trapped for almost 8 years, operating as Cardinal, an anonymous cyber-vigilante giving tips to the heroes and dumping the less solid evidence onto the internet for the world to see. He has long accepted that this is his role, he will operate from the background, help his heroes, and fuck with Luthor’s goals at every chance he gets.
Everything changes when five young heroes are kidnapped by Luthor, and Tim is reunited with Kon.
A chance for new family, new friends, a new life hangs in the balance, and if Tim plays his hand just right, he might finally get everything he never dared to dream of
