Qifrey hesitates only for a second before spreading his arms wide.
Another beat of silence as his invitation is seen and processed. Then four warm bodies launch themselves at him, clambering onto the bed and over to latch onto and cling to him.
It’s uncomfortable, suffocating, and perfect.
Qifrey continues recovering, and reunites with his loved ones.
