Summary

Summary
When Henry's gone for longer than either of them expected, Hans is left alone with his darkest thoughts of hopelessness and despair.
A fic inspired by that melancholy look on Hans' face you can occasionally catch when he's standing by himself, waiting for Henry, and the song "The Night Will Always Win" by Elbow.

They say love's in your gut, syrupy sweet, but it turns out more of a burp you’ve got to hold in for life. How startlingly romantic.
“Can Bartosch swim?” Hans asks.

Summary
Henry was tasked with delivering a love letter - instead, he finds himself questioning just what is going on between him and his lord after that memorable night in Suchdol.
Basically Henry going: are we good friends? And Hans losing his mind over it.
Added a chapter 2 for a reply poem, written by me!
(Shakespeare would have had a field day with these two)
