Summary
Spyral had broken something in Dick.
When he returned to Gotham, he had no choice but to grit his teeth and keep going. He was the fun one. The easy smile, the glue that held everyone together. But what happens when the rock reaches his breaking point?
After two years of pretending, Dick starts to crack.
Now to keep his family from finding out.
OR
Dick self-destructs.
Featuring both the angstiest of angst and the author's attempts at humor to stop their tears from drowning the keyboard. Read at your own peril. -

Summary
Dick’s goal for Thanksgiving (code named Operation F.I.S.H.): A family outing to the aquarium.
It feels achievable - everyone has been getting along better lately, Jason is spiraling closer, Cass is coming home. But there is a lot of unspoken hurt in every direction, and Dick’s own position in the family is shakier than ever since Bruce returned.
If Dick wants to realize his dream of family bonding, there will have to be many painful conversations between all parties. Dick’s own secrets will need to surface, the ones he has long kept submerged, the ones he will fight to sink forever.
(Or: Where Bruce is just a bit darker, even less emotionally available, and treats everyone a little worse, and how they all fix their family anyway.)

Summary
The knife pushes thin along Dick’s carotid artery, cupping the indent between neck and jawline—forcing him to angle his chin. The metal is warm, pulled with execution speed from under Damian’s pillow.
“Okay,” Dick says quietly, tracking the intricacies of his own heartbeat—counting the space between breaths. “Guess I did need a shave.”
(With faltering steps, Dick and Damian become Batman and Robin.)
