Summary
When the dragon looks up from staring at the magelight, meeting Chuck’s wide eyes, it smiles, curved and startlingly kind, its striking eyes squinting happily under its shaggy bangs. Chuck’s breath catches at the sight.
“Hey,” says the dragon privately, voice light and gravelly and perfect, “are you okay?”
-----
Chuck is a young boy, filthy, homeless, and hated. One night, he's met by the young faerie dragon, and life gets complicated very quickly. (Too quickly, if you were to ask him.)

Summary
Something moves against the cables in the empty tunnel, shaking the trap Mike is snared in. The sudden onslaught of sound eventually becomes quiet again, and Mike can’t help but be grateful for the growing silence— whatever did that is gone, he thinks for a brief moment— when he hears a soft, high voice speak somewhere near him, out of his line of sight.
“... You’re not an Ultra Elite,” it says, light and puzzled.
Mike freezes, heart racing, and breathlessly replies, “... What?”
-----
Mike Chilton has an inkling of a feeling that something is missing— and he has for a while now. Something about Kane, something about the bots, and everything feels off-kilter, like their fight for Motorcity would be easier with one last Burner to fill out their odd, good-willed gang. When an opportunity presents itself and leads Mike into the mysterious tunnels of the Under Depths, a huge system made up of thick cables, stray wires, and huge caverns of steel and iron, he finds the fifth member he's looking for in the shape of a genius hermit with eight, gigantic robot legs and a dislike of Kane. (Even better, he has some ideas.)

Summary
Mutt Dogs has been a lot quieter the past three months, and Chuck doesn't think it'll ever be the same. Whatever the Burners had is long gone and the struggle to keep going—to keep fighting—is getting increasingly more real, and painfully so. The Burners may still have four people to love, but the voice that brought them together is long gone.
Chuck strictly believes that Mike's not dead until he sees the body, but there's no way he could have survived...right?

Summary
Motorcity meets a new fantasy universe, filled with faeries, fairies, wizards, and polyBurners!
The story follows Chuck throughout the years as he grows up from neglected hermit to beloved mage with the help of Mike, his first friend and faerie dragon. From a home of magic, Chuck meets an array of fae and non-fae alike and learns how to survive in the wise battle of life living when past actions can mean war.
*** Warning for a headache of worldbuilding, lots of foreshadowing, and major character growth. On the other hand: mature themes in the shape of descriptive trauma, blood and gore, violence and prejudice, and sexual content with humanoid creatures (especially within later books).

Summary
There are more and more murals overhead as they ride deeper into Old Detroit. Warnings, tributes. A chronicle of Raymanthia’s rise to power. In a lot of them a figure in a sweeping cloak stands above the chaos, hands spread, a golden crown hovering over his cloaked head. Sometimes he’s holding a lance, a sword—in one, his hands are raised over his head holding what’s unmistakeably a dragon skull, a sword buried between its empty eye-sockets.
WYRMSLAYER, somebody has written, in dripping blood-red.--
It's been a long time since Mike had a knighthood, a kingdom, a king. But fortunately for him, the mysterious Lord Vanquisher has taken up residence in the ruins of the capitol city, and he's willing to make Mike and his mercs an offer they don't want to refuse.
