Summary
Frank Langdon once the prodigal son now a cautionary tale. His fall from grace has humbled him since returning on July 4th Frank has been focused on two things, keeping his head down and getting through his residency. Don't bring attention to yourself, play nice with everyone, keep his mouth shut, be a good doctor, and don't overshare. And it's been working just fine except now Robby is back from his sabbatical and suddenly it's not working out.

Frank couldn't count the stars. They were moving too fast. Couldn't count Robby's breaths. Didn't know where they were.
When he was small, he would count the glow-in-the-dark stars on his bedroom ceiling. He could get all the way up to eleven, but he’d always confuse ‘twelve’ with ‘two’ and end up back at the beginning. He eventually learnt there were nineteen.
