Summary
'Like mother, like daughter' goes the saying - Logan sees much of his mother in his sister, especially after she usurps him.
She becomes Queen, for one, and she's a Hero, for another.
A true hero, like their mother, like the Hero Garth, like the Lady Hammer, like in the legends Sparrow used to tell when he was a child.

Summary
He recognized that panicked face and that height and even his son’s pleading look. Ser Duncan. Who was probably not named Duncan, and definitely not a Ser. But he couldn’t throw the girl out, not now she had brought his son back, and not now … well. It would be unchivalrous.

Summary
A crack.
Then another.
And another.
At first, he thinks mice, but mice does not scratch like that, does not make a noise like that.
Have you seen them, ser?
Dunk stands. He walks, he carefully, slowly walks. His feet meet soft, cold carpet and there are beads of sweat running down his brows, dropping off his chin.
Smoke. There is smoke.
But no fire. Nothing of sort. Not yet, something seems to murmur. Not yet.
Dunk comes to stand in front of the cradle. He hesitates.
Watch them. Watch and see them, ser.
Dunk follows the Targaryens to Summerhall.
And he finds more than just the metaphorical dragons. As new eyes open, it brings about a change that is both hoped and dreaded in equal measure, but more importantly, like a new verse added to the old song, it is something needed by the House of the Dragon.

Summary
A formal marriage of duty that was all the people said it would be, poor Prince Valarr stuck with that Mad Drunk for an omega, poor Prince Valarr putting up with such a whore--- oh.
Or, the envy of the realm when Daeron turns out to be a lovely omega that only wants to spend time with his husband (in the chambers) but an omega that is steadfastly loyal and doting and affectionate and obedient (in the chambers) an omega that's glowing like the walking sun. Oh Prince Valarr, you fucking degenerate!

Summary
“I’m with child,” Aerion said cooly. “So no, my dear Daeron, I am not getting fat. I am merely eating for two.”
“Child?” The dumb creature he had let into his bed asked blankly, “where?”
Duncan’s armor creaked as he bent and peered under the heavy table. Daeron sucked in a sharp breath.
“What madman was stupid enough to stick their cock in you?”
A booming thunk as the table rattled on its legs. Duncan let out a muffled curse and crawled back out. Color had drained from his face. Aerion ignored his quiet panicked attempts to catch his gaze and selected another grape from the offerings, red this time.
Aegon jumped up onto his chair, bald little head cocked to the side. “Are you— truly?”
“Oh, Father is going to kill you,” Daeron observed as he snatched a goblet and filled it with light summer wine. “After he flays the skin from the man that seeded you.”
(Or the countdown for Dunk's impending demise by Maekar's mace.)

Summary
Maekar Targaryen has never made a convincing omega: too broad, too hairy, too scarred, with a face no one has ever called pretty. He loved Baelor anyway, until Baelor was betrothed to another and Maekar learned to call that love unrequited. When no alpha wanted him afterward, he took the hint. He hid his designation, married a beta woman he loved, played the husband in their bed, and let the realm believe him beta too. No alpha ever wanted him. Consequently, no alpha ever had him.
Unfortunately, the Seven have found a use for what everyone else declined. Aerion’s maidenhead is part of the forfeit owed to Ser Duncan the Tall, unless another untouched omega of his blood stands in his place. Maekar volunteers.
He expects to be knotted bloody because the Seven have given Duncan leave, or rejected once the hedge knight gets a proper look at the ugly old omega he has been awarded
Dunk, instead, seems chiefly concerned with whether Maekar is frightened, whether anything hurts, and whether he can be persuaded to believe that Duncan wants him at all
(Alternatively: Maekar offers up his untouched cunt to save his son and acquires, to his horror, a very large and extremely attentive Alpha.)
