Summary
Being nobody had kept Kilgore and his family safe, until Kora waltzed into The Dozing Lion like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth.
So really, holding onto the anger is just perfect roleplaying on Dean’s part.
“You call tell your god to shove it,” Dean snarls. “He hasn’t done shit for me my whole life and now I’m being haunted by a fucking necromancer because his wonder boy pissed the wrong person by walking around town like nothing could touch him.”
Castiel doesn’t say anything and Dean’s done, he ain’t waiting for another Elena to stab him on the back. “He leaves or I do.”

Summary
“No!” Sam successfully bats at his hand when Dean brings out his phone, but isn’t fast enough to stop Charlie’s. “Guys, come on!” he whines, “murder demon waiting here.”
Dean would bet his life on the fact that the groupchat Charlie created for the party has the badly drawn sketch as a profile picture already, but he puts his own phone down and raises his hands as a sign of surrender.

“I’m confused,” Sam says, his voice high pitched and in the amalgamation accents he uses for Atir. “Whose husband are you?”
“Mine.” Both Ash and Castiel respond, in very different tones of voice.

Summary
Charlie breathes in.
“Ah,” Sam interrupts, holding his finger up and making Charlie sputter. Nervous laughter rolls off Ash and Dean. “I warned you. I gave you a chance-”
“You threatened me,” Charlie corrects, standing up and moving towards Sam. “You didn’t give me a chance, I escaped. I listened, like an idiot, when your voice started haunting me, taunting me, telling me that you let me go.” She stops, not entering the space behind the DM screen. “But I know better now, captain. I know who you are and I know which ghosts whisper in your ear. I know why you kept me away from land.”

Summary
It was heralded, once upon a time, that unity resided in four small symbols etched in the skin of the newborn princes.
This was, of course, a poorly made translation.
Or,
Dean and Castiel as Guinevere and Lancelot to Michael's Arthur.

Summary
“Kilgore, what are you doing?”
The thing is, Dean has been counting in his head. They all have, and there’s no way Kora’s going to make it out before the ceiling caves in. Willow can’t help, unaware they were still inside when they let their earthquake take over the whole mountain, just as planned. Ash is silent next to Charlie, Doc already running towards the town, Sal draped on her back and the key to stop it all. They are going to defeat this, yes, but Kora isn’t going to make it out.
“Dean.” Sam presses gently. “What’re you doing?”

Summary
Sam, munching on his slice of greek pizza, is ignoring Dean. Not in any obvious manner, of course, because he takes his job as dungeon master seriously and, short of kicking Dean out, he has to interact with him in-game to be able to keep the game running.
Off-game, though?
Sam is being a little shit.

“First watch duo, let’s go!” Ash hollers, making the rest of them laugh. He rolls his die, looks down and cringes. “That’s a six.”
“For a total of…” Sam prompts.
“Of nothing! Big fat zero to add to that. Counting on you, eagle eyes.” He says, making Castiel huff.

Summary
Castiel shouldn’t have said yes. He knows he should’ve kept looking for a job instead of taking this one as a temporary thing, but it had seemed like a great opportunity at the time. Now, no one will hire him after he accidentally murders the Stephson’s baby. He should have known that everyone lied when they said their kids were little angels. It’s not the baby’s fault that Castiel is awful at this, but he can very much blame the parents. That must have been why they left so fast. No one is that eager to go to the local theater unless they are escaping a worse fate.
OR.
Castiel orders pizza and gets a little bit closer than expected with the delivery guy.

“Oh, okay, yeah,” Sam gives the sheet back, knocking on the wood of the table for no reason at all. “I forgot you got the cape.”
“He made a joke about being Batman for weeks.” Charlie reminds Sam, laughing at the face he makes over the memory. “He’s gonna start up again.”
“God, he’s gonna do the voice. I need to burn that cape.”

Summary
“It can hurt more, the man says, tossing and catching his dagger. His eyes settle on the shield you carry, and he points at it with his chin.” Sam mimics the action. “That must cost a fortune.”
“It’s a family heirloom.”
Sam rolls his eyes. “And what, you're gonna tell me is priceless?”
“No. It’s just a fact. You’re not family.”
“He’s gonna try and stab you again.”
Castiel frowns and Dean pats him on the shoulder. “Buddy, you’re gonna get yourself killed before we even meet.”

Summary
Sometimes Andrew looks at the clock in his laptop and the only thing he can think of is timezones. It always takes him a second to extrapolate and get an estimate of how late it must be for Neil. He does it automatically, only realizing he has started doing it by the time he has an answer. Neil doesn’t even need to be fucking awake for it. Andrew will just be there, in his room, finishing some assignment for the next day and suddenly remember that Neil is also somewhere out there.

Andrew and Neil live an ocean apart. They meet in a gaming server. It’s all Kevin’s fault. -

Summary
Connor is drenched, his hair plastered to his face and around his neck, with the sleeves of the faded brown jacket rolled up precariously, as if he had done them without paying too much attention. He is scowling at Evan. Or most probably because he is in pain, since Evan is burning his arm, the fire almost reaching the fabric of the jacket, turning the pale skin an angry red.
Evan tries to tug his arm away again. Connor holds tighter, squeezing his wrist.

It was a strange feeling, knowing that her brother had tried to kill himself. Again.
