Summary
Sunday then glanced at Aventurine once more. “I apologize to you as well, you must find me so bizarre.”
Aventurine struggled to digest what Sunday was saying, but he understood the last part well. His hand that fell away carefully touched the top of Sunday’s leg, just a present grounding touch. “Never,” He reassured, then, “Xipe's angels… what do they tell you?”
Sunday struggles with psychosis, but this time, it is no longer induced by the stress of being the Oak Family Head amidst the Charmony Festival. No, it hits him quietly while aboard the Astral Express. Thankfully, surrounded by those who care.

Summary
Sunday just scoffed. “Please, there isn’t a person here I need to be jealous of.”
Aventurine was quiet for a moment, until he turned around. His hands wrapped around the lower portion of Sunday’s sides.
“Good. Because you know that I’m yours, and you’re mine...” Aventurine just smiled at Sunday as he leaned in closer, like he wanted a kiss but intended to make a point first. Lingering just an inch out of reach. His amusement was evident and Sunday felt warm even though he wasn’t the one standing under the water. “Don’t you?” Aventurine asked.

Summary
Aventurine turned back to the window. "It was sweet of you to come, angel. Thanks for the flowers. But you don't have to stick around."
"What does that mean?" The hurt in Sunday's chest made his words come out more sharply than he'd meant them. Was Aventurine already trying to get rid of him?
"Just that… I'm a certified loony now," Aventurine said. "You should see the number of acronyms they put in my chart. You don't want a boyfriend you have to visit in the psych ward, trust me. You should get out while you can."

Summary
He could still feel his stomach twisting with hunger, protesting how little he’d had to eat today. The feeling was uncomfortably reminiscent of the past- when starvation drove him to the brink, going days without food.
He needed a distraction.
“If I promise to call you when I’m having a bad time, will you return the favor?”
The memory echoed in his mind, something of a light in the darkness. Suddenly, he found himself desperately craving the presence of his boyfriend. Even if just over a call, Sunday’s smooth voice would be a wonderful distraction right now.
When Aventurine and Sunday both find themselves in need of comfort, they each remember the promise they made to call each other for comfort and help. Following through, they find it's not so bad going through tough times when you have someone else's voice to guide you through it.

or, Ashveil was right. It actually was stupid when it took a toll on its aftermath.
