There is a record of how many times Peter and Michelle had been intruded upon, mid-session, which should be more surprising than it is, but it would be assumed that someone as secretive as Michelle wouldn't be so terrible about keeping doors closed and locked.
But Peter would never admit the little bit of smug he felt when the abhorrent leech-like friend of Peter's dorm mate calls during such private time, the friend who happens to be in Peter's lab class and who has been irking Peter all semester long, shamelessly making catcalls about Michelle while in Peter's presence, and makes the ridiculous request to "borrow condoms" and.
Well.
Because the leech-like associate doesn't believe Peter could ever date someone like Michelle.

These past few weeks got MJ absolutely fucked up.
It's a miracle she’s managed to put up with everything that has happened this well.
So, to recap: she's been subjected to mind-control, thrown off from a roof, lowkey kidnapped, and then it was revealed to her (from an at least questionable source) that she has been under a spell for years at this point.
Oh, and to make matters worse, she's emotionally cheating on her boyfriend (she thinks? she doesn’t even know anymore).
Otherwise, well, how would you call it? How does one refer to the act of dreaming of being held, so tight and warm and safe, in the arms of another guy? A guy that’s most certainly not your boyfriend? A guy that also happens to be the masked vigilante commonly known as Spider-man?
So yeah. It's been a tough few weeks.

Buford clenched his fists under the table. So much for peace and quiet. He hadn’t wanted this. He just wanted to study, to get through his day without adding more fuel to the never ending fire of ridiculous rumors about him.
He stood slowly, gathering his books in silence so as to not draw even more attention to himself. The weight of people’s stares pressed down on him from all around the library. Fingers pointed, voices lowered, eyes followed him as if he were some kind of walking omen.
Without a word, Buford slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked out of the library with heavy steps. The whispers trailed behind him, a constant reminder that no matter where he went, the stories followed.
It didn’t matter what he did. He’d always be the monster.
