Summary
The whole moment’s pretty typical for them.
Until it isn’t.
“Uh, is something wrong, man? Did I –”
“I like you.”
Or
Bakugou confesses his feelings to Kirishima, who has to turn him down because he doesn't feel the same way. Sure, his best friend is the coolest, most amazing person he's ever met, and he gets butterflies in his stomach whenever he looks at him, but that doesn't mean he LIKES him. Right?

Summary
Shouta looks around the hospital sitting room with his husband by his side. He doesn’t make eye contact with the other man, choosing instead to stare down at the single red flower sitting inside the thin plastic vase. It’s a good distraction for a second or two, but not enough that soon he’s keenly aware of how awkward it is between him and his husband as they both sit quietly.
Uncomfortable silence seems to have become the norm for them these days.
Or
While Aizawa tries to pick up the pieces of his life and marriage after the Paranormal Liberation War, he's suddenly reminded of the beauty their love is built on.

Summary
Kirishima doesn’t like to use the word “never”. Life is just too complicated and uncertain, especially when you’re training to become a pro hero. He knows from experience that things he’d thought were impossible can happen at any moment.
But he’s absolutely, completely, without a doubt certain that he will never get used to Midnight’s flirting.
“Oh my god, I can’t handle it! How is a boy as handsome and chivalrous as you even still on the market? If I were ten years younger I would have snatched you up in a second!”
Or
Kirishima and Bakugou are the first publicly gay couple in UA, this is the five times they had to deal with the fallout of it, and the one time they're reminded that they're not in this alone.

Summary
Nine times out of ten, when Katsuki says he’s only tolerating hangouts with the self-professed “bakusquad”, he’s lying.
Tonight, however, is the one time out of ten that he means it.
“I’m just saying, it only makes sense that we’ll be able to pull more chicks as proper heroes as opposed to just sidekicks!”
Or
Bakugou realizes he and Kirishima are the only ones in their friend group that have yet to have sex and decides they should get it out of the way before graduation. What could possibly go wrong, right?
