Katsuki's supposed to be happy. He's alive, he's healthy, he has a good job, and he's in love with someone who actually loves him back. Someone who doesn't abuse him or hurt him or treat him like shit, who actually thinks Katsuki's worth something. It's the best life he could hope for. So why can't he just be happy?
He's trying so hard to stay stable. But he knows he's broken. There's a rotten part of him, festering deep inside his chest, full of smoke and fire and rusty staples. Nothing can heal that.
