Summary
After a less than auspicious first meeting, Bradley finds himself drawn to Jake Seresin — the park ranger hired now that his Mom was finally retiring — more than expected. With his sharp tongue and bright smile, Bradley can't help but tumble head over heels into his feelings, making him irritated because this wasn't supposed to happen. Bradley wasn't supposed to like the new park ranger.
And how in the hell do you tell someone you're a fucking werewolf?

Summary
The voice is right behind him, cutting through the soft ambient sounds of the bar. Bradley freezes, his glass arrested halfway to his mouth. The easy drawl, alight with that ever-present smile, the faint note of that familiar peppery aftershave… no. It can’t be.

Bradley finds his destiny on the vacation he takes to avoid it.

“You sending me away?”
Rooster was a hit for hire, Jake reminded himself. He had other obligations and his loyalty remained to the people who’d trained him. Jake could keep funneling money into his pockets for jobs well done, but Rooster was never expected to be a permanent fixture on this side of town.
Jake shrugged. He pushed his coffee to the side, mug still full.
“Up to you.”
