There were a great many things Harry still didn’t know about his world. And he was perfectly all right with that.
You didn’t have to be the cleverest person in the world to be happy, after all, and nobody knew everything. (Though Harry rather suspected Tom would argue otherwise.)
Still, Harry thought it was only fair. If everyone knew everything already, there wouldn’t be much point in anything, would there?
That was what made school so brilliant. It was a place absolutely soaked in opportunity. Or at least, that was how Tom would have put it.
Always seize opportunity by the throat, he’d said once.
It seemed a bit excessive. But nevertheless, Harry fully intended to get everything he possibly could out of the whole affair.
After all, he was his father’s son.
Hogwarts had no idea what was coming.

Summary
Alastor, a powerful human mage, wants immortality for himself. So what does he do about it? Naturally, he goes and digs up an ancient vampire that's been imprisoned in a magically sealed coffin for the last century.
Supposedly, the vampire can only be freed by the magic of a soul bond, but Alastor knows better. He doesn't believe in soulmates, but he knows he is powerful and clever enough to break the lock on this prison anyway.
Funny how fate works.

Summary

Tony Stark was never Iron Man. He was never a hero, never anything except 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist'. Tony Stark was told that he is going to die. He doesn't want to die so, after hearing about the mysterious 'Kamar-Taj' from an employee, he decides to give it a shot.
When the two meet, they start to form a close friendship and eventually, they fall for the other. Hard. But hypothermia, ancient magical threats, their own stubbornness, childhood trauma, and society itself threaten to tear their friendship apart.
Fortunately, things happen and the universe decides that yes, they should get together in the end.
