I accidentally crushed a flora bundle on my next step and recoiled immediately, just to see it spring back up, only slightly flattened. A viscous, colorless fluid pearled at the openings of some of the flowers.

Summary
Once it had been established that my help was not wanted/needed with the repairs, it seemed like the best thing to do would be to go somewhere else. Which was fine. Because there was something I had wanted to try for a while, and being alone with Perihelion and 1.0 was a guaranteed way for me to continue not trying it.
I had several hard currency cards from previous work I had done, both University-affiliated and what Solicitor Pin-Lee called "freelance". I had an updated ActHuman.code (version 2.06). I had hundreds of hours of videos about the experience I was interested in.
And now I had the time and freedom to pursue it.
