(A sort of side series to "The Fire That Burns Too Brightly". Basically, a "What If" Kai didn't escape in time and lost to the poison.)

Summary
It's the start of a new semester, and there's a new kid around. Impulse, Tango, and Skizz want to talk to him, but he keeps disappearing. It remains a goal of theirs to get to know him, but they get a little sidetracked by a haunted house.
When they go to investigate, Etho happens to be there. He ends up joining them in exploring, in hopes of seeing a ghost. Turns out, they do--but things spiral downhill very quickly.
