Prompt: "a Fiyeraba meet the parents type thing"
Frex has tolerated Elphaba dating Fiyero for two years, waiting for the boy to tire of her or for Elphaba to come to her senses. But when Elphaba reveals that she and Fiyero intend to marry one day, he loses his patience.
Because he knows the idea of Elphaba as Vinkun queen is utterly ridiculous. And surely- Fiyero's parents having common sense that Elphaba and Fiyero clearly lack- they must agree with him?
So Frex makes his move.

The Cold War is over, the Wall has fallen, Prussia is dissolved and Gilbert expects to die eventually. Until then, what else is an ex-nation supposed to do while he's waiting for death? Go pester the neighbour, of course.
It's a wonderful thing, to hate and be hated in return.

Written from an OTP prompt list on tumblr: ‘you live across the hall and you’re in your underwear every time you open the door and it’s so frustrating stop smiling oh god I cannot even look at you’
‘Like what you see, darling?’ The stranger said. His smirk had a quality to it that did two things simultaneously: Made Roderich want to kiss him senseless, and pissed off Roderich completely and utterly.
‘In your dreams, you uncouth fool,’ Roderich said. Not his best, to be honest, but he couldn't exactly be blamed.

Jingyi frowned. “So, what? You went into the Burial Mounds willingly?”
Wei Wuxian smiled and it felt all wrong on his face. When he had accepted this mission, he hadn’t expected to hold a lesson about something that still left him gasping for breath in the middle of the night. “I was thrown from a sword by Wen Chao. I was—unwell at the time, so when I hit the ground—” He laughed. “Splat.”
“Splat,” Jingyi echoed, eyes wide.
(The juniors interrogate Wei Wuxian about the Burial Mounds—and quickly regret asking.)

Summary
“Nie Huaisang?” he demands, stumbling down the dirt path towards him. “What- are you the one who took down my wards?!”
He looks—awful. His eyes are sunken, his cheeks sallow. The robes he is wearing are nothing like the luxurious fabric he used to wear when he was still Yunmeng Jiang’s first disciple. Instead they are thread beard and worn, from a coarse fabric that looks irritating to the skin. There is a shakiness to his gait that Nie Huaisang has never seen from his friend, who always walked with such a presence as if to defy a world that has sentenced him to death.
“Of course it was me!” he scolds. “You really should take better care and hide your talismans.”
Wei Wuxian, rudely enough, ignores his (useful!) advice and instead looks at him like he’s mad. “What are you doing here?”
“Betraying the gentry and siding with evil, duh,” Huaisang rolls his eyes. “Now, will you let me in? I’m hungry.”

Summary
But Fiyero barely has time to marvel at her before he’s being pulled upwards, the air rushing around him and before he knows it Elphaba is above him, straddling his hips, pressing his body into the mattress with her solid weight. The fire beside them spits green and teal, a confirmation of what he already knew, her magic being a strength in more ways than one. Elphaba’s eyes are dark with desire and something else – something almost playful - as they devour him in a way that makes his brain falter, mind crackling like static.
