He has hundreds of memories here, stories for every piece of furniture and appliance in the house, and now it’s haunted. What is lurking behind every happy moment spent here, behind everything given as a gift? Did he and Steven build their foundations on love or deceit? What has Steven hidden here, under the floorboards Joe treads on day in and day out? Have Steven and Keane slept together here, in Joe’s home, in his bed?
