Out of every stage of grief, it’s anger that hits Peter the hardest.
With every passing day, he becomes more rageful, more vengeful, more bitter. He stops pulling his punches. He can’t just let the bad guys go anymore. He certainly can’t help them. After all, no good deed goes unpunished.
His rage consumes him like a demon living beneath his skin and every day it gets closer to clawing its way out.
Funny enough, it’s the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen that ends up stopping it.

In the time that follows Strange’s spell, Peter finds his life going from bad to worse. He can’t go to high school, his job sucks, his new suit itches, and, oh, he’s getting evicted illegally from his new apartment. He tried fighting it, but he doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on seeing as there’s no record that Peter even exists. Lucky for him, he knows a really good lawyer.

Summary
Eddie looked up at Bobby and saw the same fear Eddie was feeling reflected in his Captain’s eyes. “What did you just say?” Bobby’s normal composure was slipping, not enough that anyone besides Eddie, Hen, or Chim could see it, but Eddie knew that Bobby was just as nervous as Eddie was.
The man from before answered. “Yeah, his name was Buck. He said that the two of them were on the pier when the wave first hit. He uh, he had a weird mark above his left eye, a scar or something. He had a pink shirt on and his kid was wearing a yellow striped shirt, I think?”“The son was named Christopher. Buck had me sit with him while he helped people onto the truck.”
Forget the truck bombing. This was the most scared Eddie had ever been.
Or: what if Eddie found out earlier that Buck and Christopher were on the pier and Buck was able to find Chris after losing him?

About 30 in the street, at least 10 more in the building. One woman with a single GSW to the leg, none other critically injured. Four police chargers and six officers, all armed, more inbound.
One suspect. Male. Small caliber handgun and a hostage.
There was no time for Buck to think when his reactions needed to be faster than his brain. His body knew what to do, how to take a man down efficiently.
In which Buck joined the 118 after transferring to the Navy Reserves and struggled with becoming a civilian. Eddie showed him how to feel worthy again.
