But even someone like Varka, who is tougher than the average human, can't combat everything; especially not a huge mistake in the happiness potion that Nicole made. The potion did indeed work and make Varka happy, but... it worked maybe a little bit too well.

Furina had been attracted to Neuvillette when she'd first started to pose for him, but had quickly realised he wasn't interested in any of that nonsense. However, when she unexpectedly discovers him at a bar after work and he drunkenly asks her to pose that night because he's feeling ~inspired, all her desires come back.

She knew what plagued her ever since she started coughing up flower petals. She had read too many light novels to not immediately know. Hanahaki Disease. A lovely name for the flowers that clouded one’s lungs until they couldn’t breathe anymore.
