Summary
Sokka isn’t expecting much when his friend and co-worker Suki drags him out to a concert at a bar, featuring the rising star group Forever Embers. Much less having a drunken one-night-stand with the drummer, Zuko Liu, that turns into Definitely Not A One Night Stand. But as the two of them become closer, it becomes clear that things in Forever Embers are not what they seem.

Summary
Zuko takes a different path after his attempt to capture Aang at Wolf’s Cove.
In “Honorable” Zuko travels the Earth Kingdom, meeting people who teach him the true meaning of honor. Eventually he finds himself heading north and through a series of events ends up traveling alongside Sokka for the remainder of this story. [Edit Complete: March 26th, 2025]
In “Forgivable” Zuko wrestles with his past, and how his new closeness with Sokka brings forth old wounds. Uncertain of his worthiness to be forgiven he must slowly come to understand that it is not he who can make the choice but those he’s hurt. Further more he has to come to understand that he does not have to give forgiveness to those who have hurt him. [Edit Complete: March 30th, 2025]
"Lovable" in which Zuko learns what love truly is, through not only he and Sokka navigating what their relationship is and will be after everything they've been through, but also through the relationships he forms with those he chooses to call family. Relationships aren't their only concern as planning for the Day of Black Sun is in full force, in the hopes that they can end this war before Sozin's Comet comes. [Hiatus]

When Mai gets a call in the dead of the night from Zuko's uncle about how Zuko hasn't come home since the end of the school day and their breakup, her mind doesn't automatically assume kidnapping. She doesn't think anyone could be capable of making Zuko disappear.
But then she finds Zuko's shoe hidden in a dirty curb, and she wishes for once that she was wrong.

Zuko sat on a large stone and watched her work without interrupting, which she appreciated. When Katara finally let the water down and turned, he was looking at her with the expression she had come to think of as specifically for her.
"I've missed watching you bend," he said.
"I've been bending."
"I know." He paused, "I mean just watching you, watching from the outside."
