Summary
When a zombie virus outbroke 25 years ago, Sarah Alder led a group of survivors to an abandoned military base known as Fort Salem. While having no actual military background, Sarah quickly becomes known as The General and eventually turns Fort Salem into the biggest and safest settlement in the New England area. Tally Craven makes her way there after her mother dies, and quickly realizes that there may be more to the General than meets the eye- and more to the virus.

Summary
This is the various conlang dialogue Jessie Peterson and I translated for Freeform's Motherland: Fort Salem, an original series by Eliot Laurence. Méníshè, the language featured in the show, is a language spoken only by witches, passed down from generation to generation. It's a register tone language with ejectives and a noun class system. The language was co-created by myself and Jessie—the first of a very fruitful collaboration.
