The first Harry Potter fandom fic I've finished! So beautifully written, the angst filled my soul and set it's own standard. Everything played out perfectly, and I was so fulfilled reading this. Every character dynamic was thrilling. I would love to have read more of this au, so wishing it was a series! Stunning work.
I've been dying to read something in Draco POV; this fic had every prompt I was looking for and more, just perfect. All my character headcanons were met, personal and fanon. (Healer!Draco is my favourite outcome for him. 8th year is so much fun to read about.)
I realised as harsh as Harry indeed was in the beginning - Draco needed to self reflect and make changes for the possibility of the public relationship he craved for to be easy and real. He wanted Harry to be proud of him but it took work on both sides for them to get there, it took working through shame which is not easy, nor is being brave. As I read through his changing I decided that it took two to dance for their relationship to ever be.
Obsessed with the characterisation of Blaise and Pansy, they really stole the show for me. Their friendship with Draco was nurturing and real. This fic explored other relationships than just Harry's with Draco, it was so immersive, I rarely get to have this much fun reading about side characters in fanfictions from any fandom. I had rooted for Theo x Draco in the beginning, but as soon as they got together it hadn't felt right, and I wasn't keen on them being endgame. Luckily Harry pulled through in perfect patience, it's only a shame that it wasn't written exactly how they got back together and is left unexplained. With how things ended between them it seemed like a big show of proof on Harry's side was necessary for Draco to be met halfway, I didn't expect it to be left so amiguous in the end after 100k words.
So, I felt towards the end it was all wrapped up a bit too swiftly. Draco's friendships with his Slytherin friends were ended a bit distant, the dissonance too long drawn out between Draco and Pansy, it was obvious they'd made ammends but it didn't quite feel the same as it was. We know what happens to almost everybody in the end, but I would've liked to know more about Alfie in the epilogue and more.

Followed this story through the majority of it's writing process, and every chapter left me eager for the next. Every time I would theorise "what's next?", because there was always something crazier happening. The anticipation and excitement I felt every time was pure enjoyment, I hold this story close to my Erejean heart. Amazing read.
I would love to read side stories with more of these two, mostly of firefighter!Jean and hairstylist!Eren, I'm so obsessed with their characterisation in this. The entire story concept had me hooked from the synopsis, I had no idea what to expect from a reality tv au, but I was not left disappointed at all. I enjoyed every aspect of the drama, the enemies to lovers, and the yearning of course. Jean will always be a momma's boy, I was really invested in his story and his past. His hostility towards Eren at the beginning was intense, but understandable. I will definitely have to re-read from the beginning at some point to get the full effect of the flow of their relationship. I will be back to edit this summary after I do that :)

FIRE. Seriously. I'm late to the party, by like 10 years... But this is a masterpiece, seriously. Marco's characterisation is so impressionable. I enjoyed every minute. I would've loved to read a lot more jeanmarco in this, them together and being cute, but the longing and glances work well. Speaking of characterisation, everyone else met the mark to 100. Obsessed with this college AU. reibertani is a fun ship. We don't discover what becomes of Armin and Eren in explicit detail but they figure it out in a way. Ymir is just as I always imagine her. Sasha and Connie are exactly what I picture. THE VIBES. Everyone is interesting as fuck, my headcanon's were met ;) I'm not sure what part of america this is set in exactly, as a non-American. But I can guess the South, Jean was fun to read. Spanish spot on, was such a laugh. I could easily read more of this, I need more Jean!! This is my first ever fic that's marco-centric. in his POV completely, I loved it!!!
I've been looking for a football fic for so long, and this was just the CAKE! Thank you for the ride.

Amaaazingg!! I don't typically read smut heavy or multiship fanfics, usually strictly Jeanmarco, but this was great. Really entertaining. Written with enchanting lovey-dovey romance through small touches and yearning between Jean and Marco, eventually. To the point it's a bit much LOL but no, their obsession was sweet, they're soulmates after all, so.
I mostly enjoyed the first few chapters when Jean is newly discovering himself, the tension between himself and Reiner was hot, I've never read any form of reijean but that was entertaining. At the very end of chapter 7, Reiner drunkenly confesses his love to Jean after being strictly fwb, it's so angsty and heavy to really think about that outcome for anybody in a fwb (ah the unrequited love trope is a guilty pleasure, yet gut wrenching), I do wish it'd been more dramatized than it was. But it was a relief that Reiner truly did love Bertholdt.
I liked that Jean had a lot of feelings, his abandonment and commitment issues holding him back, the daddy issues; when Marco left before Jean woke up at the end of chapter 10 into the beginning of chapter 11, I felt the panic as I read. Sure Jean messed up when he said what he said, but it weirdly wasn't acknowledged how wrong it was for Marco to up and leave instead of waiting and talking it out, after knowing how Jean could take that... I don't know, but I loved the angst, I'm glad the scene was written.
I loved this, I saw way too much of myself in Jean's character lol; the emptiness of feeling wanted for nothing but sex, yet also feeling unwanted when someone doesn't want sex, despite yearning for someone to want to get to know me and make me wait until it's right. In the end, I want to be seen and loved and understood, it all feels like too much to ask for, and something a partner would never understand about me.
The characterisation and recurring feature of everyone else (the side characters) was really fun to read. I did get a little over it when Jean and Marco were finally together in chapter 11 because they got a tad over bearing, but I was officially done when the polyamory and foursome talk came in, I was like, eh okay... Just not my own perception of love, I lost the ability to relate at that point, but my personal opinion and preference doesn't take away from the greatness of this fic. The camping scene when Jean and Reiner went to kiss wasn't like okay, it was a bit yucky and pretty unnecessary, and I wish I could separate that part from the rest of the story, but alas it was all still awesome. I will be back to reread eventually!!

Oh my God. Incredible. My favourite writing on here and it has A LOT of competition in my bookmarks against other fics, but it wins so easily. The characterisation? On Fucking Point!!!! Levi's attitude, A*. I'm speechless with Erwin, A*, he was written so him and how I imagined he'd be. I enjoyed the entire thing; maybe just not Erwin losing an arm, but who enjoys limb loss? Lol. I felt so giddy, the fic had me kicking my feet and giggling, I had such expressive reactions to almost every chapter. The pace, I just can't stop praising the pacing, the events that occur, the reactions to these events, I wasn't left unsatisfied by any scene I read, which is so insane for someone like me: disgustingly picky and hard to please. I need more, even though the ending is perfect, God I could just keep reading forever... I envy the talent to write like this, so beautiful.

Jean had the good voice, and sang in French, and seemed like an angel. Eren feels entirely justified in the disappointment he feels when he discovers Jean's actually a massive dickhead.

Solid depiction of survivors guilt and PTSD. Story was incredible and emotionally moving. Jean's reaction to his life being a lie/altered and all his other friends being alive was brilliantly played out. I felt angry on Jean's behalf.
However, didn't really favour the beach scene, could have played out a lot better but didn't make any sense, and couldn't grasp where Jean was or what he was doing from that point on. Chat with Kana could have been a well written interaction had Jean been coherent and not wandering around the beach alone? Still not even sure who she is and why she was really relevant but I understood what the author was trying to achieve, I guess Kana was just filler and if that's the case then that was achieved. With the beach I couldn't understand where he was or if he was alone and why he'd be alone, got random. Overall, amazing story, definitely reading again. -

There's a new Mark IV about to be launched, and it needs a pilot. Technically - it needs two pilots. It's a shame he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a Kaiju.

I will ALWAYS come back to this story. It leaves such an impression. The dynamic is so raw and real. In particular the scene in chapter 7, Eren's breakdown, and the realisation in Reiner. He left Eren, someone who's familiar with abandonment, and then strung him along knowing he'd cling to him. It was always Reiner's responsibility, he had the power, he was self aware but squashed it until it erupted. I love the ending, I love the conversation they both share while on their blind date six years later. I love that there is a chance for them, for real this time, to be together. As someone with bpd, I hope this love never finds me, but I understand it when I read it. Eren I really relate to, the fear of abandonment, the rage in it, the timid longing and fiery frustration. I ache with sympathy for him, and spare a little of it for Reiner (I guess I'm basically Armin in this story lol). Amazing story, will be back again and again.

There's something so real and raw about this fic. I find myself trying to excuse actions and take sides as if both these boys don't have very obvious toxic problems and behaviours, I feel like I'm being manipulated by both of them as I read :'D
Everyone in Eren's orbit is so cruel to him with their passing words, especially Reiner. We're all products of our environment as long as we stay in them. Everyone around Eren wanted to slander him as a psychopath and pretend he and his problems didn't exist, and eventually there's regret and his unsurprising (yet I was still surprised) death. I feel like this really circles around to Eren's canon demise.
Reiner hasn't ever known stability or anything good, and it hurts him so much that he victimises himself. He doesn't want to blame his beloved mother, so he get's involved with Eren all while knowing the outcome will be no good for either of them with the resentment he holds close. For someone with the apparent moral high ground and the many epiphany that their relationship is no good, he never actively changed or tried to figure out why Eren was the way he was. Not that he was obligated to fix Eren, Eren needed therapy. But he never thought to ask Eren why?, while Eren was crying out for help continuously with what he'd say and how he'd act recklessly.
Armin's revelation in the end chapter, the guilt of having known, having understood Eren's desperate last ditch scramble to purge his nightmare; isn't a scene that made me feel sad exactly, but pretty empty, it felt like I was sat at the diner table with Reiner and Armin as words were exchanged too late.
It's too obvious that I favour Eren in this story, I know they're both bad.

There was something odd about him, something that interested Eren when all that interested him anymore was drumming. The way the look in his eyes, the curve of his mouth, didn’t quite match up with the rest of him. First violin, some button-down rich boy, but Eren had found him beating the shit out of a guy in an alley. Blood dark against his shirt, and his eyes like flint behind the trail of Eren's cigarette.

Probably the best erejean fic on this site; Definitely the best I've read out of all fandoms. GetMean is incredible, flawless story telling imo. Portrayed mental illness - anger/depression - fluidly. Re-read this fic a bunch of times, will continue to. Plot had me hooked from the get-go, reminded me of my favourite movie Whiplash(2014), Whiplash x my OTP *swoons*, just perfection. Didn't bore me once, kept the struggle alive till the end, with a happy ending. Eren's abandonment issues tied in perfectly towards the last few chapters. A completed fic also, not many incredible fics are finished, especially from around 2014-2016. Also, Sasha and Connie were characterized so typical London drop-outs, loved them. Would've loved a short sequel one-shot of a peak into Eren and Jean's future, but maybe not (can't really imagine one specifically), I just love these boys in this au. There's a 'fanfiction inspired by this one', which is also greatly written.

Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.

Wow, insane stuff. Descriptive writing on a whole other level, now this is writing. Such a painful shame the fic has never been completed, with only a couple chapters left as well, disappointing for such a popular and well written story, it's off-putting too, but I'm glad I read the whole thing even if I felt incomplete alongside it. *sigh.*
Jean's mom's characterisation gave me LIFE. She'll forever be my favourite.
Phobia depiction perfect. Grief well presented, Marco's pain is on a whole another level, he managed his immensely better than I could. The real cake was Jean's home life, that had the most intrigue imo, his imperfect expensive life. I'd have liked it if his relationship with his father was delved into deeper in the earlier chapters, later chapters were perfect. Fic was on it's way to it's peak when it finally stopped. I think author came too close to finishing a long wild ride to just drop it like that, but we progress and grow everyday with writing, it happens. If author never continues, I'll be very surprised, I think they still have a real shot with pulling their readers back in to end the journey.

Summary
Eren is serving 15 years for second degree murder of his uncle. He accepts that his young life is going to be wasted in this cramped and horrible place loaded to the brim with the worst people imaginable. But, what he doesn’t want to accept is maybe this place and it's people arn't as bad as it may seem.
