Summary
Leo is fine. Despite what his brother’s might tell you, he’s doing great. Sure, he hasn’t quite been himself since Splinter’s death, but he’s adjusting and his brother’s silly little intervention wasn’t going to change that. He tried to tell them as much before the dart pierced his skin and everything went black.
He now finds himself half-way across the world in Japan at the mercy of his unknown assailants. Just as he’s about to give up all hope, he’s saved by a band of Yokai Samurai led by a rather nice white rabbit. He’s not sure how he’ll ever get home, but he trusts Yuichi Usagi to get him there.

slow start in the first two chapters, but this fic is incredible. fantastic plot and relationship building.
I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. Reading it feels like watching the very best episodes of the show, but better.

Vash chuckled nervously, hands arrested halfway down. “Does that look like me?” he asked innocently.
Somewhere on the road pre-JuLai, the world catches up.

Summary
Peter loses Gwen in a split-second of motion.
It takes much, much longer for him to find himself afterwards.(In which Peter deals with a loss that immobilizes him and permeates through every drawn breath. In which his grief is a visceral abstraction that he can touch, that he can feel. And in which, with a little help, with time, with acceptance, with anger, with sadness, with Wade, he learns how to live in a world without her.)
