Summary
Five years after the cataclysm, eighteen year old Zandik is recruited by the Fatui. Twelve years later, he is joined by Feofan, a beautiful boy a decade younger than him who carries himself with more pride and confidence than Zandik could ever comprehend. Zandik, damaged beyond repair and guarded against human connection, learns the true meaning of unconditional love until it is ultimately snatched from him.
Zandik and Feofan, separated by external forces, reunite five years later as different people. The love between two youths faded long ago and yet, they gravitate towards each other like the tide reaches out for the moon.
In the present, Il Dottore is already dead and only one person mourns him. With confessions and regrets stuck in his throat, Feofan searches for his corpse, praying for a chance to say goodbye one last time.
