Hanbin grinned at the sight of Hao, so genuinely relaxed, as he continued to swivel back and forth in the office chair.
“Any other regrets I can help you with?” Hanbin asked, stopping the next time he was facing Hao again.
Hao laughed, considering how he could respond. Of course, the first thought that came to mind was the most unprofessional thought he could possibly have. “There is one regret I have left… But I probably shouldn’t say it…”
“Oh, well now you have to tell me,” Hanbin said, his eyebrows lifting as he leaned forward, totally puppy-like in his curiosity.

"You seem nervous," the man observes. "Is it your first time here?"
"At a gay bar?" Hanbin's voice wobbles over the word. He hasn't said it aloud many times in conjunction to himself. "Not really. But not since I was a kid."
A bright pink drink is placed in front of the man's expectant hands in moments, his long fingers wrapping around the stem of the glass. He doesn't break eye contact as he circles the rim with the tip of a finger, pulling Hanbin slowly into his trap. "Not really your scene?"
Without thinking, Hanbin answers honestly—the man's sultry demeanor and his genuine curiosity sucking Hanbin in. "Not exactly. I was married until a few weeks ago."
Hanbin's divorce papers are still fresh when he meets the most alluring man by chance at a gay bar. Zhang Hao is enigmatic and kind and all Hanbin has ever dreamed of.

Summary
Everything about where Zhang Hao is right now- sitting on the floor next to his boyfriend, surrounded by boxes, in the bedroom of the apartment they’re going to live in together- has a distinct dream-like quality to it. The sun shining in on them through the large, floor-to-ceiling glass windows feels too beautiful and bright, the sounds of the traffic below aren’t annoying enough, and the aches he should feel throughout his body after carrying boxes are suspiciously absent.
And that’s not even getting into the fact that the entire situation itself just feels like it’s something that shouldn’t be real. Hao prides himself on his ability to be logical, and to understand things at their heart as straightforwardly as possible. As much of a dream winning Boys Planet and debuting was, he also knew the hard work and natural skills that had made it possible, the steps he had taken that led him to defeat all the odds. Moving into a gorgeous apartment with a view of the Han River with his perfect boyfriend and equally perfect dog? That’s harder for him to accept as reasonable.

Two years had seemed intimidatingly long before, but now it seems an entirely too lacking a duration to spend with his other half, the one Hanbin thinks he has been preparing to meet all his life.
For as long as he can remember, Hanbin was born with endless love, enough to spend his weeks, months, years tilling and tending to the land, enough that he has never once felt the desire to leave Maehwa-dong. It’s a good thing that he gave his everything to this village, because Hanbin thinks that in return for his devotion, the land brought Zhang Hao to him.
