“Can I help you?” She asks back with a smile. “You seem a little lost there.”
The man looks down to the phone in his hand, the screen bright and projecting its harsh light onto his features, and Mista catches a glimpse of fucking Google Maps there. So he really is lost, quite literally so.
He looks back up at her and sighs tiredly. “Actually, yes. If you would be so kind as to tell me how to go to—”, another glance at the phone, “—Rocco Forte Hotel De Russie?”
“Sure thing. That will be ten bucks however, but if you give me fifteen, I’ll get in the car and show you the way myself.”
There are a few seconds during which he seems deep in thought, considering her offer; one more glance at his phone settles it for good. He sighs again and the phone screen turns to black as he reaches for the handle of the passenger door, pushing it open.
“Alright, come inside.”

“Yes,” Giorno replies; Mista watches his shoulders untense, his arms that have been hanging at his sides awkwardly raising to return the embrace, although more shyly than the woman. “It’s a pleasure meeting you, Signora Kujo.”

“Uh,” Mista eloquently says, “you wanna bet something even though you're definitely gonna lose?”
He says that to piss Giorno off; rile him up so that he does a terrible performance and can be thoroughly humiliated. Had Giorno been anyone else, Mista’s provocations might have worked. Sadly for him, they don’t, and Giorno keeps a cool head and handles Mista’s snarky comment with all the maturity Mista lacks.
“I am not going to lose, you stupid ass!”

Summary
Mista believes in living without regrets. They just complicate things, and life’s too big to get hung up on stuff that’s already happened. That said, he does have some. Three, actually. The first one is letting that kid on his street buy a kitten from a litter of four. The second one is letting Abbacchio and Narancia die, which is moot because Giorno just brought them back anyway, but if Giorno hadn’t then Mista definitely would’ve regretted letting Abbacchio and Narancia die. But maybe that one doesn’t count.
Anyway, the third one is inviting Trish over a couple months ago to make her watch Pretty Woman, getting smashed on cheap prosecco, and telling her that he wanted to get with Giorno. Wants to get with Giorno. Has wanted to get with Giorno. His boss, who the caporegimi like to call the Boy King of Passione. For like three entire, terrible years.
Mista has a problem. The problem is love.
