    He considered himself to be brave, probably the bravest man he had ever known. There was only one fear he had, however. A debilitating fear of dentists. Joel couldn't really recall when it started - whether it was a bad childhood memory that got ingrained into his psyche, or the influence of children cartoons which insisted that dentists are actual monsters. Either way, ever since he could make his own decisions regarding his health, he avoided them like the plague. Apparently, it backfired on him, forcing him to figure out what was wrong with him.

    “Can I help you?” the angel man asked, his glowing eyes staring worriedly into Joel’s.

    The student blinked awake, a radiant red blush on his cheeks.

     

    “Uh- uhm.. Yes?.. No..?” Joel was still getting used to the voice. He was clearly all over this guy. “I- I’m.. in need of food” he wanted to pinch himself in the arm, was this some sort of dream? Was he still in Physics lecture? Why was he so bloody awkward?
