Completely AU.
Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler never worked together. But they were both cops in NYC, different precincts. Both of them have experienced trauma. Elliot, trying to save his coworkers shot and killed a young girl (Jenna) and ran away to Greece to hide from his guilt but never left after three years. In Greece, he boex by Eddie Ashes, wishing he could escape his true identity. Olivia is running from the trauma of William Lewis and a failed relationship with Brian Cassidy. She hops on the first plane she can find and winds up in Greece where she runs into (quite literally) Eddie Ashes.
Instantly Sparks fly. But can they make it work? Especially when they are both hiding from he truth of who they are? Are some soulmates destined to find each other no matter where they end up?

She punches the number into the phone with her eyes closed, a muscle memory- her thumb hovers over the call button, hesitating briefly. But she presses the button, the monotonous ringing filling the silence of her too-big apartment.
It's a kind of ritual. She dials the number. It goes to voicemail. She hangs up. She moves on with her life.
But Olivia's had the worst few months of her life, and there's an empty bottle of red on the coffee table. It's been a while since she's done this, over a year, but she knows the outcome. Needs the familiarity of the voicemail she's had memorized for over half her life in her ear so she can…move on. Move forward.
Except instead of the familiar cadence of Elliot Stabler's voicemail, the ringing stops, and then there's a sharp inhale on the other end of the line.
