    “Don’t have anything to apologize for,” Dennis said, challenging. He was looking right at Jack, pushing the boundaries, seeing what he could get away with.
    Jack sighed, rolling his neck and setting his shoulders. “Nothing? So, Daddy texted me before you came home telling me I had to deal with you for what? Shits and giggles?”
