Impediment: A hindrance or obstruction in doing something
Every soul who enters the Ground has an Impediment, or something that hinders them from reaching the afterlife. For most, it is relatively easy to receive the closure they need and move on to their final destination. For others, like Park Sunghoon, it's a bit harder than that. When he enters the Ground with no memories of his life or how he died, Sunghoon is unable to overcome his Impediment and becomes stuck in the Ground as a grim reaper, helping others passing through find peace. He has no hope of overcoming his fate until a certain soul comes along and turns the place upside down.
While the residents of the Ground scramble to solve the mystery of how their paths are intertwined, there is more happening in the living world than what meets the eye...

Summary
Jungwon and Jay are ready to move in together as a couple. But there's one eeny meanie tiny problem. He still hasn't even told his own brother about his relationship that has been going for some years. It shouldn't be this hard to come clean, but they had made a promise long ago that he intended to keep. Except he didn't, and now he's stuck in a web of lies he'll keep on tangling for who knows how much.
Heeseung has always been afraid of what people might think of him, in fact, he's so scared he has kept a secret well-hidden for all of his life. He'll do everything in his power to keep it away from his friends, and especially his dear brother who he wants nothing else but to protect from this cruel world.
There's a thing about secrets though. You cannot keep them for too long before everything blows out of proportion.

If the Park Sunghoon Effect™ was not already apparent from the beginning, it certainly should have been more obvious the second time Heeseung met a wall during idol training, when he ranked much lower than expected during monthly evaluations after investing too much time in practicing the wrong song. Jay wasn’t able to pull him out of his slump for days, but it only took a few pleading glances from Sunghoon and the promise of free ramyeon for Heeseung to finally emerge from the practice room.
This was the decisive moment for Jay; he was perceptive, unlike his two best friends, and he figured it out pretty quickly. He anticipated with dread the amount of pure idiocy he would have to witness from the two of them in the coming years.
And boy, there was a lot.

"Alright, so we've got our suitcases, our travel bags, toiletries, snacks for the car, sanitizer, fully packed emergency first aid kit, charging cables, music, lip balm - are we missing anything?" Heeseung says. Jay and Sunghoon are both in the car already staring at him with perplexed looks. Sunghoon's sitting in the front because neither of them trust Jay with directions, but Jay's fine with it because they let him be in control of the music in exchange (after Heeseung gets a good look at his playlists at least).
Sunghoon raises a brow, looking at Heeseung through the window and saying, "I don't know, maybe a driver would be a nice?"
Heeseung whines, "I'm just taking extra precautions - Jay, you made sure we has gas right? We don't know where the next gas station will be-"
"Hyung, we literally went together because you didn't trust me alone with your car."
"Sunghoon, you made sure to pack my emergency ramyeon with you right-"
"Yes, Hyung, we've been going over this for 45 minutes, we've got everything - now can we please get going?"

Jay, Sunghoon and Heeseung take a road trip before they leave for college - things are good, a little weird sometimes, but well, they're having fun.

Jungwon was by no means a tall person but that didn’t mean he wasn’t dangerous and right now he looked it. His pretty, curved eyes set in a stone hard glare, gleaming in the light of the moons something savage, his hair, flung wildly around his head, cast outwards like a lion’s mane and his lips perused tight in concentration. He was beautifully untamed.
