"Tomioka?"
"Leave me alone," He whispers.
"Parden?"
"Leave me the fuck alone!" He screams, hauling himself up and taking a couple of wobbly steps back.
"Tomioka-san! Please sit down! You could hurt yourself!"
"Why do you care? All you ever do is make fun of me! I'm not supposed to be here! It shouldn't be me! I shouldn't be the water hashira! It should have Sabito!" Giyuu's voice cracks. "He should be here. I should be the one that died. But he died. And it's all my fault."
He doesn't know how this happened, how he ended up in Rengoku's arms, sobbing. He just wants to go home, damn it! But he's stuck here. Not that he's really complaining. Rengoku is nice, with a calming aurora surrounding him. He could stay in his arms forever. Now, if only he wasn't crying and had just finished screaming for the whole world to hear his shame.

"'Nemiiii," Genya drawled out the nickname, voice high in a whine with a scowl as scary as a kitten flashing its claws. "M'not a baby anymore."
Sanemi hummed, and without another noise, reached down and picked Genya up to plop his younger brother on his shoulders.
Genya's nose wrinkled with a pout. Sanemi's silent, but effective point making his earlier words moot. His chin touched wild white hair and he sighed, letting Sanemi's hands grab his ankles as he strolled to the Sound Estate for the monthly Hashira-Get-Together that Uzui insisted upon.
"Meanie." Genya tugged on Sanemi's hair, just to soothe his own bruised ego.
