Summary
No one wants to spend their summer in community service. Unfortunately for Hyunjin, Jeongin, Jisung, Seungmin and Felix, they have no choice: the five of them are all stuck on this Community Payback scheme whether they like it or not.
(Spoiler alert: they don't.)
Community service is bad enough to deal with on its own, but to get caught in a freak electrical storm and develop shitty superpowers on top of that? This has got to be someone's idea of a joke.
Oh, and their probation worker wants to kill them. Go figure.

Summary
Jeongin smiles again, this time more fully, showing off rows of straight teeth. “Maybe I knew I’d find a pretty boy on the balcony,” he teases. “Maybe I’m hoping he’ll take me home.”
Hyunjin’s arms constrict, wrapping him more tightly bound. Maybe under different circumstances he would have agreed. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Hyunjin is sick of playing maybes.
“I don’t want to go home,” he says, blunt. He meets Jeongin’s gaze with the intention of holding it for the first time since they met.
Jeongin’s smile relaxes into something more serious. Hyunjin chooses to perceive it as sincerity. “Okay. So don’t.”
(OR: Hyunjin, sick of failing to live up to his parents expectations, finds a savior in Jeongin, a stranger who offers him a spot in his grunge band's tour van.)

Summary
Sometimes Jisung will say things like that, separating them into two; Jisung and Minho. Twin circles in the dirt that never cross. Minho understands, though he wishes it were different.
“Like, I don’t know,” Jisung mumbles, looking down at where his toe pushes pine needles around in the dirt. “You’re powerful and wealthy and beautiful,” the final word comes as a whisper.
Minho’s heart picks up without permission, without him expecting it. “I’m just a man, Jisung. You may not be as wealthy as me, but you’re powerful in your own right, and just as beautiful, if not more.” Minho can feel blood rush to his face, painting him in shades of his innermost thoughts.
This fickle thing. Casual compliments, red cheeks. Minho doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he likes it.

Summary
The maid that brought Hyunjin up would always speak in common-people’s proverbs. The straw that broke the camel’s back, would be apt for Hyunjin’s latest drunken shenanigan. The last hit to reputation that his father could take.
People talk. Party prince. Royal whore. Disgrace to the bloodline. Hyunjin is all of it and more. In their eyes he’s soiled the Hwang name, made himself good as useless. Someone like that couldn’t stick around. He thought they’d lock him up for some months. Have him guarded around the clock, wait out the rumors fading to nothing, until everyone forgot about him.
Hyunjin never expected to be married, but he never expected his father to pawn him off as a wartime penance either.

Summary
“If you’re not going to read,” Hyunjin said, his tone deeper than it had been a moment ago. It made Jeongin freeze, a small spark of expectancy making itself known.
Jeongin knew what that tone meant, and, as always, so did his body.
A shiver traveled up his spine and his heart skipped a beat. Jeongin closed his eyes and rolled his head back against the wall again, willing himself to calm down. Hyunjin had so much power over him and he knew that all too well.
“Then you won’t mind doing something fun with me, would you?”
