Summary
Peter has never been very good at texting and swinging at the same time, but he always did it. The messages often contained misspelled words, random repetitions or completely random emojis, but this time he had really fucked up. He couldn’t exactly use a flock of pigeons as an excuse for why he had accidentally sent Frank a shirtless picture of himself and the guy from Grindr a “yep. see you tmr.”

Summary
Frank is, odd. With affection that is, in many other ways too but that’s a box Peter doesn’t feel like opening. He ridicules Peter, makes fun of him every chance he gets, which is very often. Claims he wants nothing more than for the younger spider to leave him alone. Then something strange happens, it’s like a light switch goes off and the older man will turn and say something sickly sweet or listen intently to him ramble on and on about science far beyond his knowledge. He will buy him food and leave it at his door when he knows Peter lost himself in his tinkering and forgot to eat. Then the names. All in one go the man will say something like,
“Hey fuckhead, you want bacon or sausage? I’m making waffles, you gotta eat baby.”
I mean what the hell is Peter supposed to take from that?
OR
Five different names of endearment that Frank uses on Peter, each name carving small cracks in his walls, cracks that let the kid in as much as he fights to stop it.
One time Peter gives up understanding the older man’s intentions and decides what he wants for himself.

Summary
If anyone asked Bobby what he thought of Sam, he would have said that he was too smart for his own good, but an innocent boy. If asked about Dean, his answer would have been that he had seen far too much and felt much too responsible for other people for a child his age. Asked about John? He would have said that he was driven and sometimes harsh, but a good man who would always do what he felt was right. But when facts start to come to light he is forced to reconsider his opinions. With what's happened here, he can't be right about all of them, can he?

Steve didn't understand, he didn't understand. Did they want him to talk about the upside down or not, was he supposed to say he was struggling, that he couldn't sleep, that he was so afraid of-"The dark." Charles raises an eyebrow, "I can't shut off the lights at night," he whispered, hands clenched in his lap. "I'm scared that if I- if I close my eyes there'll be something waiting when I open them. Every time the phone rings I think-" Steve shudders, "I think some government fuckers gonna call and tell me everyone's gone. Dead."
