    Summary

Finally, the door creaks open. A figure looms in the doorway, blotting out the light from the lantern behind him. At first, the man is just a blur of white robes, but Wei Wuxian doesn’t need to see his face. That rigid posture can only belong to one person.
    “Lan Zhan?”
Lan Zhan pauses for a moment with his hand lingering on the door, then steps inside and shuts the door behind him, closing them in darkness.
    “They sent you?”

Or Nie Huaisang invents Seven Minutes in Heaven. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are the first victims.

    Summary

For Lan Wangji, the twenty years since Nightless city have been a slow, relentless descent into a particular kind of hell that only those who lost everything and survived could truly understand. Pushed to the brink of sanity and grief, Lan Wangji leaves everything behind hoping for nothing except perhaps one day finding a fragile inner peace. Settling in a valley beautiful beyond words after long years of wandering, things take a strange turn when he discovers an ancient fox shrine. When a barely alive body finds its way in his home, Lan Wangji's heart beats again.

This is a story of healing and friendship, of finding family and a home, of finding peace and undying love.

    Summary

Wangji stays on the piano bench as they’re closing up. Wei Ying chews his lip, knowing what he’s going to do but horrified at himself. But what’s the alternative: kick the guy out and find him sleeping beside the dumpster in the morning? And that’s if the cops don’t take him in for vagrancy.

    “Wangji?”

    Wangji looks up.

Please don’t be a serial killer. “So, we’re closing up for the night, but A-Yuan and I live upstairs. Do you want to join us for dinner?”

Wangji blinks. His head bobs in what’s probably a yes.

    “Great!”

    Fuck.

Or a ragged monosyllabic man wearing a collar shows up at Wei Ying's music store. Wei Ying and A-Yuan ask, is anyone going to adopt this guy? And then they don't wait for an answer.

    Summary

Wei Ying put on his best smile, which had never failed him in the past, and rapidly tried to make the mental pivot from ‘meeting an awesome if slightly dishonest graphic artist’ to ‘trying to hook up with the hottest man ever to have existed’.

Never let it be said that Wei Ying’s mind was not a thing of infinite agility, when given the right incentive.
    - - -

Wei Ying had just finished an intense, two-month project and was looking forward to going back home. After a cancelled flight, he decided to try to find some companionship to take his mind off spending yet another day in his empty hotel room. He didn't know anyone in town, so he used a hookup app and came across a profile picture that is OBVIOUSLY fake, but the art was amazing. Wei Ying decided to messege the guy and meet up, planning to call him out for the fake pic but mostly he just wanted to talk to the guy about what program he used to make the image.

It turns out, the image wasn't a fake.
