    Summary

Years before Damian Wayne ever put on the Robin mask, Wayne Manor held a different kind of warmth. Following an unconventional start—being adopted alongside Jason Todd at ages eight and nine after the two were caught trying to steal the Batmobile's tires—Perseus "Percy" Achilles Jackson-Wayne became the heartbeat of the household. While Jason trained for the vigilante life, Percy remained a "civilian."

When Jason died, the manor fell apart. A bitter argument between Bruce and Percy broke out, leading to Percy running away. He was last seen at the explosion of Mount Saint Helens. Perseus "Percy" Achilles Jackson-Wayne died at only 14 years old.

Four years later, Damian uncovered a name scrubbed from the active files, and the past came crashing back. The doors to Percy's abandoned room were finally forced open. The Wayne's would soon be forced to confront a missing piece of the family they thought they lost forever...

    Summary

Percy had, briefly, entertained a fantasy of a triumphant return to Gotham. He’d get a blessing for the Waynes and finally prove he wasn’t fucking crazy, and come home to Jason and get to know Dick and get a chance to try again and, and, and—

    And Jason Todd is dead.

Years later, adrift after Tartarus, Percy finds himself pushed back to the city he once called home. All he has to do is keep his head down. This is obviously a flawless plan.

[Tim Drake is running on three cups of coffee, two hours of sleep, and a rapidly-waning belief in the value of a diploma when the most suspicious transfer student in the world walks in. Tim nearly chokes on his own tongue when he notices the white streak in his hair.]

    Summary

Percy is stuck in Gotham for a few weeks with nothing to do.

Meanwhile, the Bats have many, many questions.

Percy constantly says the most out of pocket things. He's a trained fighter. He has no criminal ties, unless you count an accusation of terrorism at age twelve (?!?). He is lowkey terrifying but also has the mellow vibes of a surfer dude. Is he a threat? Oh, for sure. Is he a friend? Somehow, also yes. Is he going to get adopted by Bruce when he discovers this dark-haried light-eyed former child soldier? Not if Percy can help it.
