A heavy moment of silence fell between them. Draco leaned forward, elbows on his knees.
“I don’t know, Potter. I don’t know. Are you good? After everything?” asked Malfoy, looking now straight at Harry but his gaze was soft, kind of defeated. Sad.
“I…” Harry thought for a while. “I am not,” he admitted, honestly, touching the remnants of his right arm.

Summary
The Fourth Shinobi World War had taken someone precious from Iruka, and the year that followed was the worst of his life. Iruka's struggle to break the surface of the sea of darkness threatening to drown him has him realizing that he doesn't have to go through this alone, and that the most important people in his life are invaluable in his journey to healing. However, Iruka's developing feelings for Kakashi are confusing and terrifying, and he has to figure out how to separate them from the turmoil of his past.
The loss of the Sharingan has taken its toll on Kakashi's chakra, and he struggles with a condition that threatens to completely overtake him if not dealt with in time. Struggling to keep his condition under wraps while trying to find his own answers about what makes a good Hokage, Kakashi finds himself gravitating towards Iruka more and more as time goes on. How can he reconcile how he feels while watching Iruka grapple with the ghosts of his past?
Through each other, they both discover that healing isn't a linear path, love isn't a rational emotion, and that if they both just try, they'll find the answers they've both been looking for.
