    Summary

There’s something coming through the forest. It’s a rustling of the tallest tree branches, and a low rumbling through the dirt under their feet. There’s a groan, some aching, deep voice echoing out, but it’s not human. It’s quite an animal, either. Technoblade wants to name it as a bear, but he can see the movement of it far off ahead, see the shape of it through the woods, and it’s not-

    That’s not a bear.

(Or, sbi form a wonderful found family relationship. this is because of the fact they're barely surviving a horror movie scenario together)

“I’m not going anywhere,” Ava promised. “I’m staying right here, Lizzie. With you. For as long as I can.”

    “Ava–”

“You’re–Lizzie, you’re the most wonderful person I could’ve asked for.” Ava let out a weak, fond chuckle. “You make me happy. I–I’m someone else out there, but with you…”

She trailed off for a moment, as if thinking. Their eyebrows furrowed, then relaxed.

“You help remind me who I am.” Ava finally said. “Who I can be when I’m not completely blinded by work. And I need that. I need you to ground me like that. So, no, I’m not going anywhere.”

    Summary

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends.

Norah almost sobbed with an exhausted grin, half crumpled on top of him. “We’re never gonna die!”
“We’re never gonna fucking die!” William echoed, squeezing them both even tighter if it were possible. He could feel his heartbeat, still frantic with adrenaline through his thin shirt.
Isaac could only laugh, resting his chin on top of Norah’s head. Eyes fluttering closed as he simply bathed in the moment. Before they had to go home and deal with the aftermath.
Yet something in Isaac’s stomach writhed.

or the unwitness gang's problems didn't all go away after killing the striga.

    (the call of the void)

The sensation of flying and falling and drowning are all too similar in the somatic memory. Jay cannot tell if the chill that’s becoming a part of the marrow in her bones is a product of wind whipping against her skin, or if it is the frigid depths of the ocean. Perhaps the product of a near-death hysteria, her brain supplies her with the fact that there are four potential oceans that may be her tomb. She cannot recall the names of any. She cannot recall why she knows what flying feels like, why she knows how the sun feels on her skin when it sings in tandem with the late summer breeze over the sea when the sky is clear and beautiful, why she feels the echo of a laugh in her chest as she extends her arms. There's a longing building somewhere in the back of her mind for the concept of freedom.

    Summary

It’s a quiet night aboard the Albatross. Chip sits with his back to the railing, holding his guitar in his lap. Reuben had stolen it for him, before it got bad, and Chip has clung to it ever since.

He couldn’t sleep, residual fear from Kuba Kenta’s curse waking him up every time he began to doze off. And their quarters felt cramped, the beds too close together.

So Chip had fled gone up to the deck for some breathing room.

He plucks at the strings, ignoring his swords lying next to him. Reuben had taught him this too, bony shoulder pressed to bony shoulder, uncharacteristically soft with him in the little house they’d found. The rhythm is simple, a “beginner’s tune” according to him. But regardless of what he said about it, Reuben had been proud when he figured it out, giving him a grin. (That same grin had been turned on him after…after what? The memory he’s grasping for slides away.)
