Uruha's face.
Tipped up, cheeks blown deep rose, eyes bright with liquid and locked on Ibuki with an expression Natsuki has never seen on him before: open, stripped, reverent in a way that makes something ugly move through Natsuki's chest because he recognizes what it is. He's seen Uruha look at his brother a hundred times—the easy admiration, the warmth, the way Uruha's whole face does something uncomplicated and genuine whenever Ibuki is in the room—but this is different. This is Uruha with all the easiness burned away, with nothing left but the wanting, looking at Natsuki's brother like Ibuki is the only real thing in a false world.
Natsuki has looked at his brother like that his entire life. He didn't know his brother wanted Uruha to look at him that way, too.
