Summary
Chase's heart practically fell out of his ass when he saw Mecha Man Blue explode and fall out of the sky four months ago. He had been tempted to run his ass all the way over there to save the poor kid when he saw it on TV.
He feels the same way when Mandy tells him Robert's stable and awake.
It makes him think about everything he's done for Robert and his family. He could've done more. Tried harder. Been there more. Been there quicker.
If only Robert didn't get his stubbornness from his dad, then maybe he could've been there for him and prevented him from pulling that dumb shit. Maybe he could be there for him now instead. He fucking hopes so.

Summary
Chad's gone longer than he usually does between family visits, deciding to rectify this by going over to his family's home for his birthday weekend. They've also been begging him to let them meet his "new" boyfriend ever since Chad told them they started dating a few months ago, prompting Chad to invite Robert along.
While it was amazing to see everyone again, Chad can't help but feel anxious at the thought of Robert either not enjoying himself or not liking his family. Thankfully, they've both had plenty of time to learn how to read each other and how to cheer each other up when their minds are getting too loud, even though the car ride home may not be the best time to do so.

Summary
Herm would like to think he's taken to dispatching very well— or, at least, as well as he could, given the Z-Team seems hellbent on interrupting his stuttering and disobeying his orders. It's no matter, though, since he has more worries that are slightly more pressing.
Like how one of his idols that had gotten him into wanting to do superhero work in the first place, Mecha Man, joined the Z-team today.
He doesn't have the time or energy to properly fanboy-out over that, though, especially since it seems like his duty as a role-model for the Z-team seems to kick in earlier than Herm expected. Mecha Man doesn't think he's fit for superhero work again, especially in a team setting, even after SDN has helped repair his suit. Hopefully Herman's able to convince him otherwise.
