Enora ran in the middle of the night. She ran from the city, the job she hated and the man who terrified her. She ran on hope alone straight to Pelican Town on the coast of Stardew Valley. Hoping to start over on her Grandfather's old farm. She never expected the devastation she would find when she got there.
Sebastian had dropped out of college three years ago and came back to Pelican Town to live in his Mother's basement. He left Grampleton and the woman who tried to drag him into despair behind him. Now he lived with sleepless nights, haunting memories and a dream of one day starting over again in ZuZu city. That was until he met the girl who had just moved into the once abandoned farm.
Can these two lost souls find each other in the darkness and learn to trust again? Can they heal each others wounds somehow along the way? Or will the horrors of their pasts finally catch up to them preventing them from their happy ever after?

She was the one that got away.
Rosemary (Rosie) May Thorne and Harvey Scott Klein attended premed and medical school together at Zuzu City University. They had feelings for each other and were aware of how the other felt, but medical school and residency pressures (among other things) caused Rosemary to place boundaries keeping them from dating. Eventually they drift apart.
When Rosemary gets burned out as a doctor, she decides it's time for a change. She moves to Pelican Town to take over her maternal grandfather's farm. 5 years prior to this, Harvey moved to Pelican Town to take over the Medical Clinic. As if by fate, they are together again in the same community, but it's...awkward. Will the farm thrive? Will Harvey and Rosemary find love in each other again? Or will someone else stir up trouble?

But after 8 months he's finally going home. Back to Pelican Town, back to his old room (renovated and fixed up by his mom in the 8 months he spent in the hospital) and his home town and all the people who definitely know him...
Even if he doesn't have a clue about who they are.
Finding someone to trust when you're practically groping blindly in the dark is definitely going to be a challenge. But for Sebastian... realizing that he NEEDS someone to trust is the first hurdle to overcome.
Because everyone seems to have secrets... And some are far bigger than others.
(This story was originally called ‘Error 404: Memory Not Found’ but has been renamed after some story chatter with friends that took it in a very different direction. ;) )

Dakota Evans is very fed up with his life. His grandfather recently passed-- the only remaining family member who cared about him-- and his customer support job for Joja hadn't gave him time off for the funeral. (They increased his hours, actually, which pissed him and his family off.) His grandfather gave him a letter the day before he passed, but Dakota only brings himself to read it a week after his funeral. It gives him an out to finally quit this soul-sucking job and start a new life for himself away from the buzz of Zuzu. It takes Dakota a while to get his feet off the ground. At least he has… another stream of money to keep him afloat.
Sam and Sebastian have been dating for about 2 months, and after a very embarrassing game of Truth-or-Dare, they both end up subscribing to a specific sort of voice actor named VAbel_xx. He hasn't posted in about a week, though, and it leaves them both oddly concerned. A new farmer moves in around the same time, however, and that opens up a whole new can of worms. At least Abel's back!
