Summary
Five years after Sukuna’s defeat, Itadori Yuuji is the strongest sorcerer alive. He is also exhausted, chronically sleep-deprived, dangerously self-sacrificing, and apparently one bad meeting away from being arrested by the higher-ups.
Ieiri Shoko has a solution. Unfortunately for Yuuji, it involves mandatory leave, absolutely no exorcisms, an unreasonable amount of sleep, and confronting five years’ worth of grief he’d much rather keep pretending doesn’t exist.
Or: Yuuji learns that being alive and actually living are two very different things. Shoko, somehow, ends up teaching him the difference—and that maybe, someday, all this pain will be useful to him.

Summary
After Yuji first consumes Sukuna's finger, he meets someone unexpectedly early, a small twist in fate. An exhausted and bitter doctor by chance happens to meet him on his first day at Jujutsu high. Destiny is Irrevocably changed by this, and so is Yuji's fate.

Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.
