Summary
Shane loses his game to a blizzard and his boyfriend to a bad hit, all in the same night.
Snowed in with his parents in Montreal, he watches Ilya get stretchered off on live TV, and discovers that when your relationship is a secret, no one at the hospital thinks to call you.
In Ottawa, Ilya wakes up with broken bones, a serious concussion, and a neatly edited brain. The months where he was lonely and depressed and fighting with Shane? Gone. He’s mentally living in the soft, hopeful beginning of things—and the more everyone tiptoes around him, the more wrong it feels.
The Centaurs step up. The Hollanders dig in. Shane tries to convince himself that “temporary amnesia” is not the same thing as losing him.

The video opens with an air of domesticity and almost innocence to it that foreshadowed nothing of what would follow. A quick sweeping shot of a bedroom, lights low, before the camera settles on a man standing in front of a mirror. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Ilya Rozanov is just finishing pulling the jersey over his head, abs and a trail of hair disappearing under a sea of blue. He turns to look in the mirror. Well it's yet another Hollanov getting outted Pre-Tuna melt fic because this one is haunting my brain.
How will the boys handle it when a stupid video they decided to make gets posted at the start of the 2016 season? Before they've ever had a chance to establish what they want with each other. What will the consequences be in a era before Scott Hunter kissing on the ice and Ilya's still the captain in Boston. -

We can look into getting him a set of actual grooming tools, he needs to learn that the right tools for the right job are an important-”
