Summary
By an old Republic law, all members of the Jedi High Council are senators in the Galactic Senate, and can thus be voted in as chancellor. A Senator from a less prominent planet has had enough of Chancellor Palpatine's incompetence and calls for a Vote of No-Confidence and the installation of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
This one action becomes the catalyst that changes the direction of the galaxy.

Summary
Ever since Rumi first touched the Honmun, she'd had one purpose in life: repair the damage that had been done with her very existence, to make herself worth it. To have the best chance of turning the Honmun gold before time ran out, before her patterns spread so far they could no longer be hidden, she would have to be perfect. It was all going according to plan, until a minor accident in a changing room ruined everything. Or so Rumi had been taught to expect — she would never have thought her partner hunters could embrace all of her. But this could only be a good thing, their connection stronger, the power of their music greater.
Hey, so has anyone noticed that their voices have started putting funny colors in the Honmun? What's up with that?

Summary
D'Vana Tendi is fifteen years old. She has already, secretly, decided to enroll in Starfleet in three years. In the meantime, she is reading the manuals.
There are a lot of manuals.
They are very, very strange.
A character study spanning fifteen years, from an Orion teenager reading Navigating Multispecies Social Norms with increasing bewilderment, to a Starfleet officer on the USS Cerritos who has spent a decade learning to live in a one-tenth-bandwidth world — and who is beginning to understand, finally, why the bandwidth was ever restricted in the first place.
Tendi can smell everything. This is not a superpower. It is not a disability. It is the condition of being Orion in a room full of people who can't, and who mostly don't know she can, and who built their entire social architecture to compensate for a sense they don't consciously possess.
She loves them anyway. Possibly because of it.
